The company initially announced the Genesis Mini 2 for the Japanese market back in June. Although in Japan it’ll be going under the name Mega Drive Mini 2. The two versions of the console will be virtually the same except for a few design adjustments. Namely the different branding and the altered color scheme of a few of the components.
